The
Aqua Nova NSF-C series corner sponge filters are air-driven internal filters, ideal for small to medium-sized aquariums, especially for sensitive inhabitants like shrimp, fry, or labyrinth fish. Thanks to their compact corner design, they fit discreetly in the aquarium while providing effective mechanical and biological filtration, without motors, chemicals, or noise. An external air pump (not included) generates airflow that pulls water through the fine sponge. Debris is mechanically trapped, while the sponge surface offers excellent space for beneficial bacteria to colonize and biologically process waste. These filters operate quietly and are particularly suitable for breeding tanks and shrimp aquariums due to their gentle water movement.
