Usage Recommendations 2HR Aquarist APT Feast
Setup: Optional 1-2 week dark start (no lighting) helps pre-cycle the substrate biologically
Water changes: Perform 80 % water changes every 2-3 days during the first weeks, then weekly
Fertilisation: Combine with APT Complete or APT Zero from day one for optimal balance
Stabilisation phase: Introduce delicate plants, shrimp or fish after about 3-4 weeks
Notes: Due to high nutrient content, a careful start is essential to prevent algae outbreaks (warm start recommended)
Not comparable to inert substrates like sand or gravel – APT Feast is an active, nutrient-rich aquasoil
