Description
The
Tetra Test 7in1 test strips allow you to check the water quality in your aquarium quickly, easily, and reliably. The test strips measure the seven most important water parameters: pH value, carbonate hardness (KH), total hardness (GH), nitrite (NO2), nitrate (NO3), chlorine (Cl2), and now also CO2 content. By combining the pH and KH values, the CO2 content can be easily read using the enclosed CO2 table. This gives aquarists a comprehensive overview of all relevant water values and allows them to react to imbalances at an early stage.
Tetra Test 7in1
- 7 parameters in just one test: pH, KH, GH, NO2, NO3, Cl2, and CO2
- now with CO2 measurement for better assessment of plant and water quality
- quick and easy to use – test results in just 60 seconds
- ideal for beginners and experienced aquarists
- early detection of problems such as algae growth, oxygen deficiency, or pollutants
- helpful CO2 table for quick interpretation of values
- recommended values and corrective measures directly on the packaging
- pack of 50 test strips
Why CO2 is important: Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the most important nutrient for aquarium plants and contributes significantly to the stability of the biological balance. Too low a CO2 content leads to poor plant growth and rising pH values, while too high a CO2 value can be dangerous for fish. The Tetra Test 7in1 helps to identify and maintain the ideal balance.
Suitable water values:
pH value: 6.5-8.5
KH: 3-10 °dH
GH: 6-16 °dH
NO2: < 0.3 mg/l
NO3: < 50 mg/l
Cl2: 0 mg/l
CO2: 5-15 mg/l
